I’ve begun to realize that I enjoy celebrating other people’s celebrations rather than my own. Maybe it’s a form of laziness or just a desire to hide from the attention. Either way, birthdays are one of those times I’m all like “Dude, just give me a gift card and that’ll be cool.”
I don’t think I’ve ever had a big deal made for my birthday in my entire life. which is all good because big deals just often make me wonder “oh, man. they put too much effort and money into this” and I like to believe that I’m a laid back person who doesn’t get riled up for much of anything, unless you’re talking Star Trek, then I’ll bite you to make my point that Lore was a horrible addition to the villains of Star Trek cast.
What the hell were they thinking? Were they even thinking?
Evil twin? That’s like low grade Mexican soap opera stuff and doesn’t belong without he sacredness of Star Trek… but then again that was about twenty years ago.
Which brings me back to my original point. Where are my piles of gifts?
I may try to be laid back on things, but I’m also hella materialistic. So, bring those gifts, or as I’m going to start calling it in my head, tributes or offerings.
Today is going to be a busy day because there will be Travel occurring later this week and sadly no drawing. Four days of Drawing must be accomplished…
