Wander Ahead, Child and Get Lost

So, the I’ve been working a head lately building this buffer for when things hit the skids and go off course, crashing into ravines, buildings, and probably buses filled with doe eyed flaxen haired children back from church camp or something.

I need those buffers for days like today, where I’m so damned lazy that lazy isn’t even the word to define it, It’s more along the lines of jellified person flesh blobbing along the floor in hopes of booze crumbs and something to eat, rodent perhaps.

But there seems to be a problem associated with building too big of a buffer that the days are becoming blurred and I don’t know if I’ve updated a website or not. Hence the loads of late updates that seem to be flourishing as of late (not that I was always Johnny on the Spot with them in the first place), but it’s some cause of nose wrinkling when I can’t seem to update on a schedule even when all the work is done and all that needs doing is pushing buttons and such.

Four days to Halloween.

I shall be watching zombies whilst drinking Zombies.

It is like when you fall off your bike, hit the ground at 40 mph, break a few bones, lose half the flesh on your leggy parts, and have to undergo seven years of physical therapy just to climb back onto the seat once more.

Yeah, that’s blogging to me.

Began out great, have ideas, still have them, but they’re are those little ideas that wander about my head parts and make head ideas.

They rarely see light of day, which I believe they should

Head Ideas much be made into pixel ideas.

I’m trying to get back into the swing of blogging again. There is a lot of news that is forthcoming, but for some odd reason, it’s like everything I do, I think it and nod to myself “yeah, got it” and then forget to put it down on computer/paper.

The external method of record keeping is a skill I need to harness once more.

Therefore, blogging shall be done and news shall be spread, and humor at the unattractive shall be shared.

You know who you are.

Speed onward, my fellow travelers. Speed on.

100 Days of Pain III: Day 10

Posted in LIfe & Times, Work by Alex on October 2, 2010 No Comments yet

It’s been ten days of pain, literally. Somewhere in the midst of planning, writing, and drawing, something unfortunate occurred to my ankle. Now it hurts like the dickens, but I hobble on courageously.  Damn it, only 10 days in and my body’s falling apart.

Status on:

  • Project Whiskey: Characters set, universe set. Now to plot it out and begin writing.
  • Project Dead: 1000 words written. Currently waaay behind in this, but you can’t stop life from rearing her ugly head.
  • Project Moo: Plot laid out, need to script it.
  • AMOB: has been updating late, but updating.
  • AH.com the series: It’s been held back a week, but starting Monday, it’s firing on all cylinders again.
  • Bitterwater Tales: 1 story written, another planned, will commence writing today. The official relaunch of BWT has been pushed back to January as New and Exciting things are to be added, which require a longer logistic train.

Currently sliding back into the groove of things and happily knocking out some work, first draft kind of stuff, but at least some of the heavy lifting is done.

Let’s hope the second 10 days are twice as bad ass.
