Third time’s the charm and during the big upcoming holiday season too, WTF?
I seem to be indeed a glutton for pain, hence the return of a 100 Days of Pain. That little gem is needed as I look into the future and see all those shiny things I want to do, but then scan about in the present and see where I’m at in doing those things… no where near.
It’s that old game of trying to find motivation, trying to force motivation, and trying to trick yourself into motivation. If life is all about trickery, why not indulge in trickery that’ll help in being productive? The best kind of trickery, if I say so myself.
In the next 100 days, there are things that need to be done and things that shall be aimed for. Hitting them and scoring the touchdown, those may or may not happened, but at least on our deathbeds we can say we at least gave it a try.
There are a couple of projects that I have been working on for the last few months. Character designing and fleshing out plots and the like. Those will hopefully begin and some head way made in them before this year is out. 100 days to get those projects from the head and onto the computer.
Within these 100 days you’ll see:
- AMOB updated five days a week
- The return of Bitterwater Tales (sometime in Nov.)
- The continuation of the AH.com series website (starting next Monday)
- The completion of a novel that began last year, Project Dead
- The finishing of Project Moo
- The beginning of Project Whiskey
So there’s work to be done and today is the first day of my 100 Days of Pain.
What have I done so far? Eat crackers and watch a lot of Netflix.
Damn.
